Terms

Last updated 30 August 2026

Bidboard is a single public board where you buy pixels and put your logo, your link and a short description in front of everyone who visits. These terms cover what you get, what you owe, and what we will and will not do. They apply from the moment you buy space.

Bidboard is operated by Atharv Motghare, an individual based in India. Throughout these terms, “we” means that operator and “you” means the person or business buying space.

What you are buying

You are buying a 30 day lease on a specific rectangle of the board, at a price the board calculates at the moment you buy. You are not buying the pixels outright and you are not buying them forever.

  • The price you are shown before you pay is the price you pay. It does not change after.
  • Your block keeps its exact coordinates for the whole lease. We will not move it, resize it, or reassign it while the lease runs.
  • When the lease ends without renewal, the ground returns to the board and someone else may buy it. We will tell you before that happens.

How prices work

Prices move. Space nearer the middle of the board costs more than space at the edges, and prices rise as the board fills. The board also grows over time, so it does not sell out, but the valuable middle stays a fixed size and does not grow with it.

We do not publish the exact calculation, and we may change how it works. What we will not do is change the price of a lease you have already bought.

What you may put on your block

You are responsible for everything on your block. You must have the right to use it, and it must not:

  • infringe anyone’s trademark, copyright or other rights;
  • mislead people about who you are or what you are offering;
  • lead to malware, phishing, or anything that tries to harm or deceive a visitor;
  • be illegal where you are or where we are;
  • be sexual content, hate speech, harassment, or content directed at children;
  • promote weapons, illegal drugs, or anything the payment provider prohibits.

We check every logo and every link before a block goes live, and we check again from time to time. A block that fails those checks does not go live, and we will tell you why and what happens to your payment. See Refunds.

What we may remove

We may take down a block that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. Where the content is harmful or illegal, we will remove it immediately and tell you afterwards.

If we remove a block for something you did, you are not owed a refund for the remainder of the lease. If we remove it for a reason that is ours rather than yours, you are.

What we do not promise

We would rather be plain about this than bury it.

  • We do not promise any number of visitors, clicks, customers, or sales. Advertising is not a guarantee and nobody honest will tell you otherwise.
  • We do not promise the site is never unavailable. We work to keep it up and we will tell you honestly if something goes wrong.
  • We do not vet the businesses behind other blocks beyond the safety checks described above. Clicking a link on the board takes you to someone else’s site, and what happens there is between you and them.

If something goes wrong

If we are at fault, what we owe you is capped at what you paid us for the lease in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects a lease you already hold, the terms you agreed to when you bought it continue to apply for that lease.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Reaching us

Use the support form. It reaches us directly and we read everything that comes through it.
